Congratulations to the Mile High 9-10 Softball team, first district 5 champs, then 3rd in State. Way to go girls!

Update 8/15/10 - Fall ball games are scheduled to start August 22nd. Players should be called by their managers any day now. Have a great season!
Update 7/27/10 - Mile High will not be holding another fall ball registration for 2010, but Zia will be having one this Saturday Jul 31st from 9-12 at Zia. When you register, be sure you indicate that you wish to play on a Mile High Team.
Zia will be hosting fall ball this year. You can sign up at Mile High on the 17th or 24th from 11am-1pm for Zia’s fall ball program.
Registration is $55 for the first child, and $35 for each additional family member.

Manager/Coach Evaluations
Please take the time to evaluate your manager/coaches
The Mile High Board of Directors is committed to providing a positive-productive learning environment for every player. To that end we are using a coaches evaluation form to solicit feedback from parents. Your input is important to us and the information will be used to improve how our coaches interact and instruct players. We encourage you to take a few minutes to complete this on-line evaluation form. Your feedback is confidential and your identity and individual responses will not be shared with coaches or managers, but will be used by the Coaching Committee and the Board in the selection and training of future coaches. Please be fair and honest in your responses and try not to let personality differences heavily influence your feedback. We appreciate your time and effort in this matter.

Board of Directors Election
Note from Howard (MHLL President):
Mile High is looking for people who are interested in serving on the 2011 Board of Directors. While we have been able to make many strides in making Mile High one of the finest leagues in the State there are a number of items that we can do better. In order to do that we need parents and volunteers who are willing to donate their time and energy into helping over 400 kids enjoy another terrific baseball and softball season.
My time on the Board has been richly rewarding and fulfilling. I have had the opportunity to meet new people, I have been able to contribute to something that helps hundreds of kids, and as an added bonus, I have made several close friends. I would encourage you to join the Board and make a difference. There are several ways that you can help that may not be as time intensive as you think. Get involved, you can make a huge difference to the League and in the lives of our kids.
You have until May 30th to nominate either yourself or anyone else you think would be good for the Board. Nominations can be done either by emailing election@milehighll.com or calling 292-7810 and leaving a message. Elections will be held on June 8th at 6:30 pm. Absentee ballots will be available at the concession stand during game times between June 1st and June 7th.

Team Pictures this Sunday
Team pictures will be taken by Kim Jew Sports Studio this Sunday beginning at 9am. Each team is scheduled for a particular time and should arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled time. Click here to download Sunday’s team schedule.
Managers: your picture packets in the concession stand. Please come by anytime between 5pm and 7pm this week and pick up the amount of packets you need for each of your teams teams. Packets must be filled out prior to pictures.
